So, from my experience, I recommend gravel that is pebble like or even just having a bare bottom tank. Even when in close proximity, they tend to ignore each other.
I want my tank to test optimal for all, so I’m trying to get an even balance for everybody. I’ve saw several comments about Not using salt but, my vet told me to ignore those comments and use salt.
