Walt has to make sure Jesse’s ricin cigarette is removed so he can convince Jesse that Gus or Tyrus stole the ricin cig to poison Brock. Even worse coincidence-wise--Jesse just happens to pick out the new girl in therapy to show the bros how to sell meth...who just happened to join that group...who just happended to be there...who just happens to be leaving at that moment..who just happens to fall in love with Jesse...who just happens to tell him she has a brother...in a gang...who shot a guy...who was Jesse's pal Combo...etc. Then, he realized how he "lost" the ricin cigarette way back when.
