Using an EC aml patch file I downloaded from somewhere else. Now with Catalina installed, I cannot sleep/restart/shutdown without a kernel panic/freeze, so I think during the installation initially, it froze because it couldn’t reboot.In any case I should probably re-do the install since who knows what else might be incompatible — but audio and ethernet work and generally Catalina is working fine.I think my biggest thing is I need a patched DSDT for Z390 Aorus Ultra, which I cannot find anywhere.Are you using slide=0 as a bootflag? I always have black screen it doesn’t matter which bootarg I tried. ?Why in the fuck would you make a guide where you can’t use APFS?

Followed your guide and did a fresh install of Catalina.Now, yesterday I got again the same behaviour I described with the 1080ti.Now funny thing happens, I took off the card and it again booted into the BIOS with the iGPU.At this stage, my hypothesis was that the problem was related with the m.2 slot.So my question is, can all this be related with a faulty SSD?Anyway, any insights for what should I look for?btw this is my 4th hackintosh, I always followed builds that proven to be stable by other users, never run into a problem that I couldn’t solve.
