I made them sugar free and without the mild powder: I put the tahini in a wok by itself and just pan ‘roasted’ it. One of my favorite mixed in is a rose and pistachio brittle that I make with rose petal, saffron, stevia and salted pistachios (I like the added salt). Then separated in to batches and added mix in’s. Then dip a skewer about 1cm into the melted chocolate, then insert into the center of the cold halawa truffle. Maybe rice or coconut flour?So sorry Laana, but I haven’t tried this recipe with any other substitutes to be able to say.
